As long as owners of catalogue, participants at auctions and bidders are not saying anything to the contrary, they declare that they will only be using the catalogue and its objects of contemporary history and of military history from the period of 1933 - 1945 for study purposes of constitutional explanation and clarification, for the defence of any unconstitutional efforts and of endeavours that are hostile to the constitution; that the objects will be acquired and intended only for scientific research or for obtaining information on the history of art, for the information or reporting about the events of contemporary or of military history and research on the history of the uniform tradition (§ 86a StGB - German Penal Code).

Messrs. E N G E L  FINE ART AUCTIONS, the auctioneer and their suppliers of the above objects only make their offers under these conditions and provisions.

Furthermore, when making the bid for objects that show emblems of the Third Reich, the bidder is obligated to acquire them only for historical and scientific purposes due to the above-mentioned reasons. The bidder is not to use them in any other way for propaganda purposes, in particular in the sense of § 86a German Penal Code.
